At Jafax! [21 Jun 2008|01:36am] [ mood | good ] [ music | Hairdryer and sewing machine! ] HAI GUISE Okie SOOO We are currently all finishing up last minute preparations for Jafax and it's like almost 2 in the morning xD  We're in Grand Rapids, safe and sound, and the drive up was not too harsh.   We're all just preparing and working and being awesome for the time being.  Rozalind's skirt is being skankified (as she says), Romeo is working on her schoolgirl outfit for Ninamori, and Tybalt and Paris are working on wigs and various things.  I myself was the 'bard' for a while, and nbow I'm just basically being uselsess and taking pics, which can be found on my facebook throughout the con: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=712880470 If the page is blocked...sorry xD  We'll try to post the important pics up here asap, and hopefully it'll be awesome!! SUUUPPPP [17 Jun 2008|11:24pm] [ mood | tired ] [ music | The Only One - the Cure <3 <3 <3 ] HAI GUISE So, Jafax is comin' up quick on our lazy asses, aanndd...too say the least...I'm a bit worried.  Our costume maker is in New York, stuff isn't done around most sides, and allz ah noes is that I have leggings, boots, goggles, and a longsleeved white t-shirt.  Hahaha...that's about it -__-.  Uuumm...well, things ARE getting done, on a lighter note and I suppose that that's a good thing in itself.  Other than the quantity of things we'll have done, it should go smoothly!! We've been working out basic pricing and everything, and I'm about ready to tie up all the loose ends here, so assuming nothing happens on the way to Grand Rapids (KNOCK ON WOOD) everything should be great!! I know that I personally will be bringing my camera and another pair of batteries, because I've been wanting to cosplay FLCL since the idea has been sprung!!  And Chobits should be fun because let's face it - I'm just one of those people who loooveess running around in cutsey outfits, and this happens to be a maid outfit.  It's all good!!! Jafax Comin up!! Haha [01 Dec 2007|10:15pm] [ mood | blank ] [ music | Lewis Black ] hahha..... Totally... So, i know it's been FOREVER, but Youmacon was a blast, we met all kinds of coolio peoples, and yeah, fun stuff.  I had to talk to a cop sitting next to me in his car when I was at a stoplight going to Youmacon on Saturday, and he asked me what the costume was for....awkward.... Then as soon as the light turned I realized I was in the wrong lane...and proceeded to make an illegal lane change, pissing off Mercutio and all the other people behind me... -_-;;; Hahahha.... But we were safe and NOT IN JAIL.   We'll update again soon with pictures, and we'll put up a photobucket link soon, and all kinds of stuff will get done EVENTUALLY.  That's the keyword, people... YOUMACON!!! [31 Oct 2007|03:08pm] [ mood | pissed off ] [ music | Night of the Living Dead - Misfits ] Sup homies??  Jk.... so Youmacon...this weekend...yeeaahhh....we should be done with everything.  My dearest Husband and Fiance (Romeo and Paris, you know...) are going to skip all kinds of Halloween fun-ness to work on our costumes (Paris' wings and tail and everyone else's stuff) but from what I've seen of Tybalt's outfit today (which was freaking ADORABLE) we're doing fine time-wise.   And Kudos to Romeo for figuring out Tybalt's Washu-size and measuring all that...(her chest.....hehehehe...) so yeah, good work!!!   Everything's falling into place finally and it looks like we should have an awesome time!!  We'll be sure to post pics, and we'll eventually post the pics of Mercutio's Pudding dress in-the-making....yeah....we'll do that soon, I promise ^____^. We are 5ive Yards.  A crack team of...uh...people who do cosplay and show you the ENTIRE process (well, almost the whole thing...).
